Product overview

IPEX high-performance vinyl systems with Xirtec® PVC Schedule 40 pipe, and schedule 80 pipe are designed to meet the temperature, pressure, and size requirements of piping systems that are used in chemical processes and other industrial applications such as:

All Xirtec® PVC Schedule 40 and 80 pipes are certified to ASTM D1785, NSF 14, and/or CSA
B137.0/B137.3; ULC S102.2-M88; NSF-PW; ASTM D1785.

Specifications

All Xirtec® PVC Schedule 40 and 80 pipes are certified to ASTM D1785, NSF 14, and/or CSA
B137.0/B137.3; ULC S102.2-M88; NSF-PW; ASTM D1785.

Xirtec® Schedule 40 fittings certified to ASTM D2466.

Xirtec® Schedule 80 socket fittings certified ASTM D2467 and threaded fittings to ASTM D2464.

All fittings must be third-party certified to NSF 14.

All Xirtec® Schedule 80 fabricated fittings shall be reinforced with fiberglass reinforced plastic
(FRP).

All PVC fittings shall be molded or fabricated from Xirtec® PVC compound compatible with
pipe material.

Only Xirtec® Schedule 80 pipe will be threaded and the pressure rating reduced by 50%. Belled end pipe socket dimensions shall conform to ASTM D2672 or F480.

All pipe, fittings, and valves shall be compatible with Xirtec® and produced by one manufacturer; as supplied by IPEX.
