Polyethylene ‘The Pipe with the Stripe’® features a permanent, coloured stripe which enables the class and type of pipe to be easily identified, whether in storage, on a project work site or embedded in the ground. Lightweight and easy to install, using compression or barbed insert fittings, this IPEX product offers outstanding strength and flexibility, together with the chemical, corrosion and UV resistance that polyethylene is known for. Choose from standard or CSA-certified PE, in nominal sizes from ½” to 3″.
Made from Flexible, High Performing PE
The ‘Pipe with the Stripe’® is a popular choice in Canada for a variety of project needs. Its smooth interior virtually eliminates scaling or deposits that result from hard water. As a result, water supply lines remain cleaner for longer periods of time. Made from low-density PE resin, the product maintains its flexibility in colder months. It also features coloured strapping on coils to match the main stripe colour, assisting with easy identification for storage and shipping.
The stripe is not simply a marking, but part of the pipe itself and will always be visible. The system is available in convenient coils or reels and provides sequential footage markings for simplicity of use.
